Villa - Le Hameau des Pins
General Information

This pretty, modern French villa is situated in Sainte Marie la Mer, a small French seaside resort on the Mediterranean coast just Southeast of Perpignan. Set in a quiet private cul-de-sac with the beach 300m away and local shops just 100m walk. The villa has 2 bedrooms and will sleep 4/6 persons. The villa has shared access to small private swimming pool.

Location

The villa is situated just 10 minutes from the Catalan city of Perpignan, and is only a 30 minute drive from the foot hills of the Pyrenees. Other local places of interest include:

  • Collioure – A beautiful old Port with Royal Castle and plenty of art shops and restaurants.
  • Port Vendres – A small village fishing port with lots of good quayside restaurants.
  • Elne – Quaint cathedral town with many art galleries.
  • Canet en Roussillon – Museums, Aquarium, Tennis and Golf.
  • Carcassonne – A fortified Medieval City with 52 towers build into its walls.

The Accommodation

The Kitchen

The ground floor living area consists of good sized, open plan Lounge / Diner and a small and well-equipped kitchen. The small fitted kitchen is equipped with a halogen hob and extractor, eye level grill and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee maker, pots and pans etc..

Ground Floor Shower

The ground floor shower room with WC and wash basin.

Washing Machine

There is a washing machine installed in the under stairs walk-in airing cupboard.
The lounge / Diner

The lounge / Diner has UK Satellite TV, radio and DVD (bring your own DVDs). A very comfortable double sofa bed. The dining area has an extending dining table with seating for 6. The villa is equipped with crockery and cutlery for up to 6 occupants.

 

Double Bedroom

Upstairs there are two good-sized bedrooms, the first contains a full size double bed with large wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Twin Bedroom

The second smaller room has 2 twin beds and a small wardrobe. Both bedrooms have bed side tables with lighting and each room has both shutters and curtains.

Upstairs Bathroom

There is a bathroom and toilet upstairs and a shower and toilet downstairs.


Sun Terrace

There is a front terrace with patio table, chairs and built in BBQ and a rear terrace again with patio table, chairs and deck chairs.

The villa is semi-detached and is one of twenty tastefully decorated homes in a quiet cul-de-sac. Within the complex is a small walled in swimming pool with a locked gate, access to the pool is only available to residents.

The Villa will comfortably sleep 6 persons if the sofa bed in the lounge is used, however for long term rental we recommend a maximum of 4 persons.

There is a private parking space adjacent to the villa suitable for one car.
